Fill and Sign PDF Forms for Android
Fill and Sign any PDF form containing AcroFields.
Form fields are extracted from the document and presented in a simple user interface for easy access and filling. For that purpose form fields should have been labeled correctly by the form creator. In case they are not, real-time split-screen mode might be of some help, but it depends on the size of your device’s screen (see the screenshots). Full-screen read-only form preview is also available.
Signature capture capability depends on external Signature Capture library. You will be prompted for installation once when needed.
Except filling and signing, it is possible to attach photos to documents. Input data can be exported and produced documents can be viewed, mailed and shared by different means.
Input PDF documents can be opened directly from your device’s file manager or they can be accessed via app’s built in file browser.
Output documents in demo/trial mode are watermarked and the app contains ads.
Full app version has no ads and allows you to save documents without a watermark. It also allows you to export your input data to csv or json and to access the app’s API (for 3rd party app integration). Read more about integration with a third party android app.
The app can be installed for free from the following safe sources (installation files are hosted on our own server):

Frequently asked questions
Is a permanent internet connection required for filling out PDF forms?
No.
I can’t see any of the data I enter in a PDF form. Why is that?
It’s possible that the fonts you are using are not supported by either our application or the PDF reader installed on your Android device. Please try opening the filled form on your PC. If the data is still not displayed, email the original PDF Form to the support email address and we will investigate the issue.
Does the app support JavaScript for calculating PDF form fields and executing button actions?
Yes, there is a limited JavaScript support. If something isn’t working with your form, please send it to our support email here and we’ll take a look.
Why am I unable to capture any signatures on my PDF form?
Your PDF form must include a signature field, plain text fields do not qualify. If you have a signature field, a button will appear that initiates the signature capture process.
How can I create a fillable PDF form?
If you need a tool to create fillable PDF forms, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office and free Open/Libre Office provide that functionality.
How can I view photos attached to my PDF form?
By default, photos are not appended as separate pages, but attached to your PDF form. You can change that behavior in app settings. Regarding photos that are attached, if you open your PDF form in Adobe Reader for example, you will notice a paperclip icon next to the document page. Clicking on this icon will list your attached photos.
How can I keep my filled-out PDF form editable?
Press the Menu button, then select Settings. Under the Output section, you will find a Read only option. Set it to either Ask or Never.
When setting up a PDF form, is there a way to arrange the fields in the app in a specific order?
Yes, there is. The order of fields follows the TAB order defined in your form.
How do I activate my license using the key I already have?
To activate your license, please follow these steps:
- Start the app.
- Open the app menu.
- Click on the Settings menu item.
- Select About.
- Click on the Activate Full Version button.
- Click on the Enter the Activation Code button.
- In the Activate dialog, enter your activation code and press OK.
I shared the output document via email as an attachment, but it was never sent. Why is that?
There are two possible causes for this issue:
- You are using Fill and Sign PDF Forms version 3.2 or earlier on Android 6.0:
In this case, the mail app you are using may not have permission to access the SD card. To resolve this, please follow these steps:- Go to Settings > Apps > (your mail app).
- Select Permissions.
- Enable the Storage permission manually.
- You are using Fill and Sign PDF Forms version 3.2.1 and above:
While this version addresses the problem mentioned above, we have received reports of issues with certain buggy mail apps. Users have reported that attachments may not be sent unless they are opened within the email app before sending. Unfortunately, this issue is beyond our control, and there is nothing we can do to resolve it.
